Creating community peer support opportunities is a vital aspect of our work as mental health advocates. Having a space to gather as a community and benefit from a supportive environment is crucial as we navigate the challenges and transitions of life.
The Wellness Circle
In collaboration with the Eva Marsden Center, we bring you a support group for our elders to mitigate isolation and promote community. A wonderful opportunity to share our daily lives, our concerns and dreams.
Hosted at the Monkland Center located at
4410 West Hill Avenue in NDG
Wednesdays 10 - 11:30am.
All are welcome to join and participate in important conversations about our every day lives. Snacks and tea is shared by all!
Women on the Rise Perinatal Support Group
Women on the Rise is a nonprofit organization based in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG) that offers programs and services to women and their families.
FCC is happy to join forces with WOR and provide much needed perinatal mental health support to mothers experiencing challenges in early motherhood.
Hosted at the Monkland Center located at 4410 W Hill Ave in NDG

Community Healing Days Perinatal Mental Health Support Group and Menstrual Charting Circle
Our Community Healing Days project is growing thanks to continued support from Concordia’s Shift. We are extending our offerings to add three specialized clinics for Trans Care, Perinatal care and Menstrual/Reproductive care.
As part of the Community Healing Days Perinatal and Menstrual/Reproductive clinics, we are offering a support group for mamas at Studio 414, 10 Pine West, in the heart of the Plateau, followed by a menstrual charting circle to learn more about our reproductive health, tracking our cycles, and what that means for our overall health.
Hosted at 10 Pine West, Studio 414 (elevator is accessible, there are three stairs off the main floor)
The groups will run in liaison with the clinic dates on these mornings for 2024:
February 8th, March 14th, April 11th, May 9th , October 10th and December 5th.
